Maša Salopek is a Croatian pastry chef specialising in fine dining dessert creation and menu development. Her work has been shaped by some of the region's leading Michelin-starred kitchens, including Hiša Franko in Slovenia (2018–2023) and Cap Aureo in Rovinj, Croatia (2023–present), where she serves as Head Pastry Chef. A recipient of The Best Chef Pastry Award 2021, Maša is known for a precise, contemporary approach to desserts that treats pastry as an integral part of the fine-dining experience. Her technical expertise spans classical European pastry techniques, innovative dessert design, and seasonal ingredient utilisation. She has collaborated with internationally recognised chefs and has consulted on dessert menu development for restaurants across Europe, including recent work for fine dining establishments in London.
